First introduced over 25 years ago, the Tuesday Chicken is a unique feature at our club. The idea was born when a group of friends, all members of Neuchâtel, decided to create a midweek competition, just like the women and seniors. The "Chicken" has become a friendly and enjoyable part of Club life. Down the years, the competition has grown increasingly successful, with an average of fifty players turning out to compete every Tuesday. And over the course of the year, over 200 enthusiasts try to win the chicken.

New for 2026!

The organisation will now be handled by Alain Roethlisberger, Thierry Schindelholz and Katia Sandoz.

We propose a simple and flexible format that remains faithful to the spirit of this event, so that everyone can continue to take part and enjoy it.

Registration:
Via PC Caddie, until Monday at 12:00 noon.
For players teeing off after 18:00, scorecards can be collected directly at the Clubhouse.

Payment:
CHF 20.– to be paid in cash when collecting the card at the secretariat.
CHF 10.– goes to the secretariat for the cards.
The remaining amount goes into the Chicken fund for prizes.

Scorecards:
Please drop them in the club’s mailbox after your round.

Results:
Available the following day on PC Caddie.

Prize giving:
Once a month, during the monthly competition.

Theme dinner:
Organised once a month after the prize giving.

Flexible tee times:
You can play at the time that suits you best, including in the evening for those who work during the day.

Catering:
It is of course possible to eat at the club after the competition.

Course availability:
A schedule of Tuesdays when the course is available will be communicated (some dates are reserved for other competitions).

We hope that this more flexible format will encourage participation and strengthen the friendly atmosphere that makes the Tuesday Chicken such a successful event.
