The Golf and Country Club Neuchâtel offers girls and boys (up to young adults) from 5 to 18 years the opportunity to get to know the sport of golf with all its facets.
(technique, tactics, mental game, rules, etiquette, material, competition forms, course requirements and much more).
The junior section has about 80 juniors, with about 40-50 of them actively and regularly participating in the junior training sessions. The junior section takes care of the the cadre and kids cadre and organizes, besides the weekly trainings (whole year) and the seasonal camps, several tournaments every year. Even though golf is an individual sport, a team spirit is developed through various activities. If required or interested, young players are accompanied by adults to tournaments abroad.
A: Wednesdays 14:00 - 15:00 for the youngest, 5 - 7 years old and beginners under 10
B: Wednesdays 15:00 - 16:30 for the advanced and older beginners
C: Wednesdays 16:30 - 18:00 for the juniors under 10 with AP or a HCP
D: Tues. & Thurs. 18:00 - 20:00 for leisure and hobby golfers for whom golf is currently more of a sideline activity
E: Tues. & Thurs. 18:00 - 20:00 + Friday evening for the "competition group", who aim for higher goals and want to participate in tournaments (also abroad)
